Toronto next weekend

The holidays are fast approaching and so is Oliver turning 6 months old! Time flies. Eric is hitting a milestone next weekend - 30 years old - we are going to Toronto next weekend to celebrate. Grandma E, Grandpa Pete and Auntie Holly will also be there. It should be a great weekend. With the early Christmas present from Grandma E and Grandpa Pete of the in car DVD player it should be a nice drive over there.
Oliver has been horrible at night lately and just last night we tried the "cry it out" method and not feeding him during the night. We did put his soother in a few times. He does not cry when we put him down for naps or at bedtime but wakes frequently during both and it is really becoming annoying because he is still tired and if we take him out of his crib too early he has a complete meltdown about 20 minutes later and we have to put him down again.
We are looking forward to our trip home to Thunder Bay for the holidays and have booked the direct flight there and back - we were smart this time!
